Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Last night we went to a Greenville Drive baseball game with some friends. This was Payne's first baseball game and he had so much fun! He said his favorite part was the fireworks that the frog made (he thought the mascot, Reedy Ripit, was the responsible party!) We love the Red Sox and since the Drive is affiliated with them...it was pretty cool to see all of the stuff they had there. However, they lost to the Savannah Sand gnats (gotta love those minor league baseball names) in the last inning...oh well! It was fun anyhow!

It was Elvis night...by the end of the game I had heard enough 'Love me Tender' and 'Jailhouse Rock' to last me a lifetime!


Payne wasn't too sure what to think at first...a little sleepy!


The only reason I'm including this one is because it is the only one of Payne and Avery...see...she's in the background!


This player's last name is Hissey...just thought that was funny. Bryan said the last game he went to Hissey had a fan club and they all hissed everytime he came up to bat.


Of course Payne got the souvenir bat and ball!
