Snow in March...Only in South Carolina!

I was so excited to finally get some snow this winter...even though we had to wait until March to get it! I was bummed out the last time it "snowed" because we didn't even go out in it. I thought we had missed it this year...but then last night happened...and the glimmer of hope turned into a reality when the snow came pouring down and they called off school the NIGHT BEFORE (you know its serious when that happens!) Payne stood in the window to catch a glimpse of what he hoped would provide loads of fun the next day...

Payne was ready to go this morning. When he woke up, he had forgotten about the snow and he looked at me and said, "Snow Mommy!" as he suddenly remembered. I think we overdressed at first because we were kind of warm with the sun out...hence the shades Payne is sporting.

Making snowballs...they kept sticking to Payne's gloves so when he would throw them they wouldn't actually go anywhere.

All in all...it was a day full of memories and fun and I am now completely satisfied with the Winter of 2009. Now, bring on the warm weather!
